Nikon D800 adalah kamera full frame yang dilengkapi HDMI dan large sensor. Nikon D800 memiliki kemampuan sensor 36 MP, dengan fitur Full HD video capture (50/60 fps) pada 720p, mendukung Slot SD card, koneksi USB 3.0 dengan mode AF (auto focus) dan layar belakang kamera sebesar 3,2 inci 921k-dot LCD display dengan ‘ambient light meter‘. Fitur dan spesifikasi dari Nikon D800 ini tidak terlalu berbeda jauh dengan Nikon D4, sama-sama memiliki AF module dan prosesor expeed 3.
